This first full-length record by the current two-piece line-up can roughly
be categorized as being situated somewhere in the spheres of Ambient and Drone
music.The tracks alter between brief miniatures and long, spheric excursions.
The album is fully instrumental, with guitars, guitar loops and saxophone
as basic instruments. Additional instrumentation features percussion, stylophone,
mandolin and melodica. For this album, no synthesizers as such were utilized,
although several of the instruments were electronically processed at the mixing
stage.
As is often the case with the music of cryptic scenery, the tonal content
is of mostly repetitive, hypnotic nature -but the sonic stage, the aural landscape
is complex.
